Àrokò Monthly
Comrades, dear friends, co-conspirators,
As 2025 draws to a close, we find ourselves in that familiar in-between space, the festive glow of gatherings alongside the weight of everything this year has revealed. At Àrokò, we end the year energized by the prospect of continuing our work. We are grateful to be in community with you and excited to share what we’ve been building together.
New Year, New Work
As we head into 2026, we're excited to share a short recap on our various clients projects that we have completed so far.
Àrokò is for those who value depth, excellence, and imagination—for institutions seeking cultural resonance, for communities building new futures, and for creators working at the edges of possibility. If this sounds like you, reach out to us at contact@aroko.coop to set up an introductory call.

This month, in the spirit of giving, we’re offering a more intimate look inside the Àrokò Cooperative. Highlights include:
An Inside Look Into Our Design Department
We launched our first member interview series with the Àrokò design department. These conversations reflect our commitment to craft, discipline, and care.
→ Get a behind-the-scenes look at how we think, make, and collaborate by reading the interview.

Our First Monthly Roundtable
We gathered to talk about design, culture, and the growing chasm between craft and performance.

As we move through this season of gift-giving, we are mindful of those for whom the year does not end in rest or celebration. In Sudan, Congo, Palestine, and across the world, people continue to endure ongoing genocides that demand our attention.
→Read the poem below on Darfur and sit with what it asks of us in this moment.

In a time of relentless consumerism, one of the most meaningful gifts we can offer is divestment from systems of harm and an engagement with struggles that are too often ignored, dismissed, or obscured amid rising anti-Blackness, authoritariansim, and anti-gender movements. We end this year holding hope, and the belief that through collective effort, attention, and imagination, liberatory futures remain possible.
May we remember that solidarity is not seasonal. May we carry care beyond the moment, and choose actions that bend toward justice.
In solidarity,
The members of Àrokò Cooperative
